TESTIMONIALS from people that know our dogs
July 31,2006
Dear Debbie: Thank you so much for all the help and advice you have given me over the last year and especially for such a beautiful puppy. Right from the start, you took the time to answer my questions and invited me to your home to meet the Kings. Again, you spent your time explaining the characteristics and personalities of the dogs. It was evident how experienced and knowledgeable you are with this breed. You also invited me to attend several dog shows where I could see the Kings in action and talk to other owners. With your help and information, I decided this was the dog for me. When it came time to select a puppy, you made every effort to choose the temperament that would suit me. I am thrilled with my puppy, she is so smart and sweet.
The most amazing of all, you are always ready and happy to answer even the simplest questions I have. You are not only a devoted, conscientious and outstanding breeder of King Shepherds, but also a wonderful friend.
Sincerely,
Linda

Hi Debbie (July 27,2006)
I know so many people have been asking to see photos of Casey (no, not casey spiegle-haha). Well I finally got the moment to download them. There is one photo from the day we picture her up at 10 weeks---and most of the others are very recent (4 months). As you can tell she has more then doubled her size but about 1/3 of the size she is suppose to be. She is our baby, we just adore the heck out of her and she keeps entertaining us. Keep an eye out on my website for more---I am in the process of updating my photo gallery now that my computer is somewhat working. Enjoy!!

Dear Debbie,
It has been about seven weeks since we brought baby Felony home. (The product of Shadow and Buca) We cannot express how much we love this puppy. I know you told us what to expect from this breed, but I didn't believe it till I saw it. She is calm, clear headed, smart, easy to train and a whole lot of fun even at 13 weeks old.
We still cannot get over how Felony has not once soiled in her pen and now crate. I attribute that to your cleanliness you displayed in your home. Keeping on top of all those puppies and immediately removing their fouled papers really paid off. We cannot thank you enough for your dedication and love for this breed. You truly produced an outstanding puppy.
I look forward to keeping in touch with you and possibly breeding her in the future. I already have received several requests from friends and family to keep them posted because they too are won over by this breed.
Just a note in closing, a close friend and neighbor of ours attempted to deter me from getting a King Shepherd. She was concerned that this dog would be aggressive to her and her children and would make it difficult for her to enter our home. She kept trying to persuade us to get a dog similar to her Boxer. Well believe it or not she has become the best admirer of Felony and looks after her when we are gone for long periods of timeF85..and yes she is one of the people that may be interested in one of Felony's pups.

Sincerely,
Jeff and Paula Klein

I have been involved in the training of dogs for about 11 years and a Police K9 Handler for the past four years. I have been lucky enough to work with many different breeds in all aspects of work. Debbie and Eddie's King Shepherds are some of the finest of the breed I have seen. After working obedience them a couple of times, it is clear the dogs are very stable, confident and healthy. All three of the dogs I have seen have wonderful dispositions and are quick and eager to learn whatever is being taught. I would recommend their dogs to anyone interested in the breed.

Sincerely,

Neighbors-Jim, Patti and Andrew Niedzwieki

Our family has known the O'Connell's dogs, Shadow, Buca and Tia, since they were all seven weeks old. Our son Andrew, has been able to approach and play with these dogs since they were puppies with no fear. Although they are very big, they are very friendly and loveable.

Sincerely,
Jim, Patti and Andrew Niedzwiecki

Dear Debbie & Ed,
It's taken me awhile to write to you, but now I finally have the words to express the thanks my family and I, have to give to you both.
Fifteen months ago, we received the best gift ever, our (little) baby girl Harlee. It took alot of debating over whether to get a puppy or not, since the death of our other dog Spanky. It was the best decision our family has ever made. She is the best dog ever, and she gives us great joy. The love she gives us is from the love she was born with from you.
Fifteen months ago also I made the best friend ever in meeting you. You have been there for every phone call regarding questions about raising our baby, and have come over in times of trouble without any delay. I really can't thank you enough.
I also have to say I have been there with you, with the birth of 2 litters, and you are the best breeder I have ever met. The love and care you give all those babies amazes me like you cannot believe. They are the most precious babies I have ever seen. I fall in love with all of them and hate the day when they have to leave, but I know they will be happy with their new families, since they are so happy with the time they have with you.
I have saved the best for last. The rest of the crew. The love I have for your dogs, (Yogi, Shadow, Buca, Tia, Chrystal, Phantom,Logan,Cosmo, and Badger). They are the best. My family and I enjoy the times we spend with them and always have alot of laughs with them. Also the love they give back. We cherish every moment with them.
Keep up the great work, I hope people read this letter, and will know they are making the best decision in picking you as their breeder.
Thanks again for all you have done for us, and in giving us the best gift ever.

Love Always,
Paul, Barbara, Danielle and Nikki

Hi Debbie,03/03/2005

I just wanted to give you a little update on Shabu. She seems to be settling in well. We have a fairly consistent routine set up already. She making good progress with her house training, yesterday we only had two accidents. I have started leash training her and I am impressed with how quickly she learns things.

We have been having a lot of fun with Shabu. She loves to play with our cats, chasing them around and herding them under the dining room table. Both the cats and Shabu seem to understand that it is a game, so no teeth and no claws are shown. We walk 4 times a day with the big dogs, about a half an hour each time, and she loves to watch them play from the safety of my feet. My 3 year old Rufus, thinks that tag with Shabu is a great game and they've spent a few minutes playing everyday.

The last two days she has eaten her three meals a day, so I'm hoping that means that she is settling in to her new environment. I've taken her with me everywhere I've gone and she sure turns heads. Most people are amazed that she's only two months old, they all think she's three or four. Her left ear slowly seems to be going up, it seems to sit higher than the right ear, I am assuming that is how they go upright.

I wrote Shelley Watts an e-mail this morning to start finding a mate for Shabu. I hope it won't take too to long, because it would be fun to raise the pups together.

I hope you were able to dig your wait out of the snow the other day, we finally made it out yesterday.

I'll send you pictures when I get them developed,
Fondly,
Terri

Dear Debbie,

I hope all is well and things are starting to return to normal. Have all the puppies headed to their new homes?

Just wanted to keep you up-to-date on Liberty. She is doing really well and is just a great addition to our family. The kids have bonded with her to the point that we occasionally have to remind them that Liberty needs her rest every now and then. At this point it's hard to say who has more energy - the kids or the dog.

While she has her moments with the puppy biting, we are all working together to teach her what she can and can not sink her teeth into. And, of course, we can't go to the store (any store it seems) without coming home with a toy for her to play with/chew on. On the other hand she is also VERY cuddly when she gets a little tired out.

At this point, at 9 1/2 weeks, she is about 75% housebroken - and we have gotten better at recognizing the signs that she has to go out. even with the recent snow, she still is pretty good about going outside. We have re-introduced the supplements to her diet and is doing well with them now.

We have our next vet appointment on the 7th at 6:15 p.m. and I will let you know her weight then. I happened to have been traveling for about four days last week and it was easy to see how much she had grown while I was away.

Enjoy the pics and I'll talk to you soon. Until then, stay safe.

Warmest Regards,

Joe, Debbie, Marisa and Anthony (...and Liberty, too.)

Debbie, I would like to share with you our experience with one of your Shadow - Buca puppies, Dutchess. She has been a wonderful addition to our family, she is very intelligent sweet, and very active. She is easy to train, and she is very affectionate with us, including my 9 month old daughter Alyssa. Our family is not complete without her, we are very happy with her and I know she is happy being with us. We try not to spoil her too much, but needless to say she knows how to soften our hearts and she gets away with a little more than we should allow her and she knows it. We want to thank you for your support and educating us concerning this breed, we have no regrets....thank you Debbie.
GOD BLESS!!
Sincerely,
Daniel & Jeanette Rodriguez
